Start with the immediate situation

Keep people away from affected or potentially hazardous areas. If there is an immediate threat to life, contact emergency services. Electrical, structural, utility, or other hazards may require the appropriate emergency authority or professional before restoration work can proceed.

Do not enter a hazardous area to obtain photographs, operate equipment, or retrieve belongings. When calling, explain what you observed, what is still happening, and any access restrictions.

Information to share

Provide the address, affected rooms and materials, when the issue began, any known source, and the person authorized to arrange work. If a property manager, carrier, consultant, or investigating authority has given requirements, let us know.

Plan the work around documented conditions

Water restoration may include assessment, extraction, material removal where necessary, cleaning, structural drying, monitoring, and documentation. Correcting a plumbing, roof, or other source issue and completing repairs may require separate work.

Mold remediation uses source removal, with containment, engineering controls, HEPA filtration and vacuuming, physical cleaning, moisture control, and measures to prevent cross-contamination as appropriate. PPE and respiratory protection depend on actual job hazards and applicable requirements.

Agree on the scope

Clarify authorized work, access, contents handling, included repairs, payment terms, and any requested testing. Post-remediation testing is not automatically included in standard mold remediation. Insurance coverage and payment remain subject to the policy and carrier determination.

FAQ

Emergency Restoration Questions

How quickly can you arrive?

Eversafe provides 24/7 emergency phone availability. Scheduling depends on crew availability, distance, weather, access, and actual site conditions. A specific arrival time must be confirmed for the situation; it is not guaranteed by this page.

What should I tell you when I call?

Describe what happened, whether water or contamination is still entering, which rooms and materials are affected, and any known access or hazard concerns. Share the property address and who can authorize work.

What can water restoration include?

Depending on conditions and the agreed scope, work may include assessment, professional water extraction, controlled material removal, cleaning, air movement, dehumidification, structural drying, monitoring, and documentation using applicable ANSI/IICRC S500 principles.

Will insurance cover emergency work?

Coverage and payment remain subject to the applicable policy and carrier determination. Eversafe can provide supporting project documentation but does not promise coverage, direct billing, or deductible-only customer responsibility.

Are repairs and testing automatically included?

No. Repairs, reconstruction, and requested or required testing must be addressed in the written scope. Post-remediation mold testing is not automatically included and may be separately coordinated when requested or required.
